In "Copyright, Content, and Control," the issue with amateur intellectual property is discussed to show how multi-modal platforms robs authorship, specifically for students. As social media platforms and multi-modality increase, information is shifted along the web in this relentless organic stream of information at all costs. Creativity and individualization of authorship is in a dying period where students' intellectual property is not valued, but is instead stomped over in the current wild west, also known as the internet.

The piece is split up into 6 section, examining problems within intellectual property and technology platforms and offering solutions to tailor the brutally capitalist nature of the internet to benefit the creator. The "TENSIONS" section examines the ways in which student authorship is hindered, highlighting the fluidity of a voiceless text. In present day, this will be an issue for upcoming graduates as people look to find a way to not just profit from content creation, but find its ethical and just sweet spot for credits' sake.
